My name's Justin, and I'm a Buddhist. I take bits from Hindu, and Taoist philosophy as well though. I blog about religion, politics, philosophy, and whatever else I feel like blogging about. I've grown a lot over the years, but I'm still far from where I want to be. If you have any questions then ask away! Don't be shy.

Ron Paul 2016!
Oh yeah Gary Johnson 2012<3
What a joke.
Libertarian Gary Johnson for president!
ZAKARIA: All this said and done, are you enthusiastic about President Obama? You were not for him in the Democratic primary four years ago.
KRUGMAN: Right. I mean, we’re a long way past where I think enthusiasm is the appropriate emotion for anything here.
But he’s learned a lot. And, you know, his heart’s always been in the right place, and I believe his head is now in the right place. And you certainly — of course, I can’t do endorsements, right? It’s a Times rule. So you have no idea who I prefer in this election.
(LAUGHTER)
But he certainly is talking sense about the economy, and Mitt Romney is talking utter nonsense. And you really do worry. In effect…
ZAKARIA: What is the single biggest piece of nonsense that Mitt Romney…
KRUGMAN: Mitt Romney is saying basically that spending cuts are how we’re going to get to prosperity. Mitt Romney is saying, see what’s happening in Greece and in Portugal and in Spain and in Ireland; let’s do that here.
Boy — you know, we’ve just had a massive test, human experimentation on a massive scale, in effect, alternative doctrines of economic management. We’ve just seen which doctrines are disastrous. And the Republican platform is, let’s put that doctrine that has just caused collapse in Europe — let’s put that doctrine into effect right here in America.
Look at those SAVAGE spending cuts Paul Krugman…
Stop trying to turn more people in sheeple…
Whoever votes for this joke is one sad individual.
“[I will] fight very strongly against libertarian influence within the Republican party and the conservative movement. [Libertarians] have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do. Government should keep our taxes down and keep our regulation low and that we shouldn’t get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn’t get involved in cultural issues, you know, people should do whatever they want. Well, that is not how traditional conservatives view the world, and I think most conservatives understand that individuals can’t go it alone.” - Rick Santorum

Looks like people don’t care about their freedom, because this clearly shows that he would add more government interference into their lives more so then what the government already is. Wonderful.
“Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.”

Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney…What!?
Among those who support the Tea Party movement, support is split at 38% for each of the two leading candidates. However, Gingrich does better among those who say they strongly support the Tea Party with 49% to 24% for Romney. It’s the mirror image among those who support the Tea Party only somewhat – 51% for Romney to 27% for Gingrich.
^What in gods name are THEY thinking. Do those so called “tea party” supporters even know what the tea party stands for?
The Tea Party movement (TPM) is an American populist political movement that is generally recognized as conservative and libertarian, and has sponsored protests and supported political candidates since 2009. It endorses reduced government spending, opposition to taxation in varying degrees, reduction of the national debt and federal budget deficit, and adherence to an originalist interpretation of the United States Constitution.
The Tea Party’s most noted national figures include Republican politicians such as Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul, with the elder Paul described by some as the “intellectual godfather” of the movement.
So why on gods green earth are they NOT supporting Ron Paul!?
I swear, this is why America is going to hell. People are uneducated, imbeciles who don’t even know what they are even “supporting”. You are not a real tea party supporter if you do not support Ron Paul. Not only that but you make yourself look like a misinformed idiot.
He is the most eloquent 76 year old man I have ever seen speak, he is not in his 40s or 50s anymore, people should respect that he has the power to speak as well as he does and to do as well as he does in-spite of his age. Whoever says he can’t speak well should watch these videos;

It is called NATIONAL SECURITY, not WORLD POLICING. We are supposed to keep OUR nation safe not the WORLD. By securing our borders and building up our national defense we will be more likely to make order with other countries and also to be able to negotiate better and get out economy in order.
I swear to god voters are SO stupid.
Like you REALLY are going to BOO the golden rule?
Go back to school.
Ron Paul, expressing his concern over the poor state of affairs that often afflicts veterans coming home. Paul emphasized that he had the most support among members of the armed forces, and made it clear he feels they’ve been failed for lack of care.

This is huge, I dislike Santourm, but he has fallen off sharply since Iowa so that win is pointless for him.
A huge blow to Romney because he now has only won one state, and his steam is looking to drop off with these big hits he’s taken recently.
Gingrich, it’s no big deal if he takes South Carolina, it’ll be his one surge and he’ll end up dropping out with Santourm eventually, he doesn’t have the lasting power.
Ron Paul, my man has to be loving this right now, as long as he can keep doing well in polls in the west and mid-west then he’ll be set to hit the GOP hard and start racking up those delegates like crazy. If he can steal some supporters from Perry/Huntsman and do amazing like usual in the debate and capitalize on his opportunities then he could very well place 2nd or at the very least a very strong 3rd. That should hold him off till we can start smashing after Florida.
Ron Paul 2012!
